Adventuring In Salt Lake City!

Today we decided to have a bit of an adventure in our state capital.  Why?  Well you see, the Trax (train-type transportation systems) have opened up near our home town, so we can travel all the way to Salt Lake whenever we want!  Since today was their first day opening, they let everyone who brought a can (to donate) ride for free!  Now let me tell you about our adventure!

Of course, we picked the coldest day of the year to go...

And the Trax was ridiculously crowded, as I'm sure you assumed they'd be...

When we got to Salt Lake, we were greeted by the soothing music of a bagpipe player.

We visited Temple Square, as many Utahns do this time of year.  The lights are always amazing!

John and I adopted Jennison, Chanel's brother, as our own

We found a fountain, in which we threw pennies into.  We made some quality wishes.  I think Jeff wished for 7 wives, and I'm pretty sure Ky wished for a fish taco

It was FREEZING!  Good thing we had each other to keep warm.

Eventually hunger took over, so we went to City Creek, a nearby mall, to eat

Kylee went a little bit crazy....

After that we rode the Trax back home.  It was so fun!  And thanks Coach G. Short for taking us!
